About Me

Dr. Gidwani is an Associate Professor in the Division of Health Care Policy & Research at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.  

She also holds roles as a Senior Researcher (Adjunct) at the RAND Corporation and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.  Prior to those roles she was a consulting assistant professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine and a health economist at the VA Health Economics Resource Center (HERC).  

She has been leading studies regarding the cost and quality of U.S. healthcare for over 15 years, and is most definitely, a statistical nerd.   Dr. Gidwani received her doctorate from UCLA in 2009.  

When she's not elbow deep in data analyses and statistical modeling, she enjoys skiing, reading, dancing, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two daughters.
